The Illinois Supreme Court’s Judicial Reference Sheet accompanies its AI policy and gives judges guidance on generative AI, ethical oversight, competence, accuracy, confidentiality, hallucinations, deepfakes and extended reality. It reiterates that judges remain responsible for decisions.
