The Solicitors Regulation Authority publishes a warning notice on misuse of AI on August 17, 2026. It applies to solicitors and firms using AI in legal services, explains risks from hallucinated authorities and confidentiality failures, and says the SRA will consider the notice when exercising regulatory functions.
