What the vendor documents
Recorded from the vendor's own trust, privacy and terms pages. "Not disclosed" means we found no public statement, not that the control is absent.
What the public documentation states
DraftWise's pages describe contract drafting, precedent research and contract intelligence for law firms and in-house teams. A benchmark post says DraftWise integrated Anthropic's Claude 3 Opus into its Contract Intelligence platform alongside proprietary models. Its zero data retention post says every LLM provider is bound by explicit zero-data-retention agreements, inputs and outputs are not stored beyond the immediate processing window, data is not used for model training or fine-tuning, prompt and response content is not logged, and only minimal operational metadata may be retained. The same post states SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certification and ISO 42001 alignment. The FAQ says firm data is encrypted at rest with AES-256, logs use AWS CloudWatch, and firms can deploy in cloud or on premise. The data retention policy says DraftWise retains all data for no longer than five years unless law or regulation requires otherwise. Website-use terms were last updated August 11, 2025. Provider zero retention does not erase stored firm data or service logs. No DPA, public subprocessor list, data residency, concrete price, seat minimum or minimum term was published. The benchmark post states 97% precision and 94% recall in an external AM Law50 client-driven evaluation.
In the vendor's words
“Every LLM provider we work with is bound by explicit zero-data-retention agreements.”
“Data is not used for model training or fine-tuning”
“97% precision and 94% recall”
“Deploying on-premise with Draftwise.”
Not disclosed on public pages
"Not disclosed" records that no public statement was found where we looked, on the date shown. It does not assert that the control, term or figure is absent.
Not published on pages we read on 2026-09-21: public DPA, public subprocessor list, privacy update date, concrete list price, free trial, minimum term, seat minimum, data residency, and SSO/SAML details. A law firm procurement or DPIA review would normally need those points to map processor terms, client confidentiality controls, cross-border transfers, access management, retention, and supervision of drafting output.
Questions to put to the vendor
- Can DraftWise provide a DPA and public subprocessor list for Anthropic, cloud providers, support tools, and processing regions?
- How does the five-year data retention policy interact with LLM provider zero-retention terms?
- Which cloud, on-premise, and data-residency options are available for UK, EU, and US matters?
- What price, contract term, seat floor, and cancellation terms apply?
- What benchmark protocol and sample defined the 97% precision and 94% recall results?
Accuracy evidence
- vendor97% precision and 94% recall in a client-defined evaluation (vendor report) Vendor describes an external AM Law50 evaluation; underlying protocol and data were not independently reviewed.
