What the public documentation states
The old Kira product URL now redirects to Litera's Review page, which describes Kira for high-volume contract review and due diligence with predictive AI paired with generative AI, more than 1,400 pre-built smart fields, governance controls over where AI is applied, and Lito diligence reports included for Kira customers. The Kira sub-processor page names Azure OpenAI for hosting the generative model and processing data, and says Azure regions match the Kira hosting region where applicable or use a region with comparable privacy controls. The Kira DPA schedule covers on-premises and cloud and says on-premises personal information is stored and processed on the customer's premises. Litera's Master DPA gives 72-hour breach notice. The Litera Trust Center lists ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and ISO/IEC 42001:2023, but the page our fetcher received is scoped to the Peppermint product, so no Kira-scoped certification was confirmed on 2026-10-05. The Review page states 95%+ precision on target provisions; a Litera blog dated 1 April 2026 describes multi-layer AI and an option to disable generative AI.
