What the public documentation states

Lupl's homepage describes "Work Management for Lawyers and AI Teammates" and says lawyers and AI teammates use one workspace to assign tasks, trigger workflows and track work. The EULA incorporates a Data Protection Addendum and Annex III sub-processor list as at 1 September 2025. That list names Open AI, Inc. for Lupl AI features in the USA and Microsoft Inc. as cloud service provider in the EU and USA, with other listed locations including Singapore, Australia and Hong Kong. The EULA states that AI data is not retained or used to train the model, and the DPA says protected data is deleted when no protected data remains in Lupl's possession or control. The homepage states SOC 2 Type I & II certification and alignment with ISO 27001 standards. The pricing page says pricing is based on user count and provides a custom quotation. The EULA gives no accuracy guarantee for results or recommendations.

Not disclosed on public pages

"Not disclosed" records that no public statement was found where we looked, on the date shown. It does not assert that the control, term or figure is absent.

Not published on the pages we read on 2026-09-06: a list price, minimum contract term, terms last-updated date, ISO 42001 statement, private-deployment option, SSO/SAML statement and accuracy-testing method. A law firm's procurement or DPIA process would normally ask for these points to document client-confidentiality controls, SRA/ABA competence and supervision checks, and GDPR Art. 28 processor terms.

Questions to put to the vendor

  1. Which Annex III sub-processors process matter content for Lupl AI features, and can a UK customer restrict processing to EU locations?
  2. Does OpenAI's no-retention commitment apply to all Lupl AI features or only the features marked with the Annex III footnote?
  3. What accuracy test, sample size and reviewer process support generated plans, summaries and recommendations?
  4. Does the production service support SAML SSO and any private-deployment or tenant-isolation option?

Accuracy evidence

No published accuracy or hallucination evaluation found as of 2026-09-03.
