What the public documentation states

Epiq describes Epiq Discover as an ediscovery service with flat-rate, per-gigabyte transactional and subscription price models, document classification, Epiq AI for Review and Epiq Assist. The Responsible AI page names Azure OpenAI. It also states that client data is not used to improve OpenAI, Microsoft or other third-party products; the Data Processing Terms say Epiq may use Client Data solely to fine-tune or adapt generative AI tools for client-specific output improvement. Epiq Discover's page states hosting in any AWS region and cites SOC II Type II certification and the AWS ISO 27001 framework. The global terms are dated 15 June 2026; no privacy update date was found. The AWS ISO framework does not establish an Epiq product certificate. Corporate HIPAA alignment is not a product attestation. The Data Processing Terms say AI outputs are machine-generated and not guaranteed; no testing method was published.
